Form and Size: A scrambler or vigorous climber reaching 5 metres in ideal conditions

Distribution: North-eastern Qld. to North-eastern NSW; in moist forests and rainforests

Leaves: Egg-shaped or oval, long drawn-out point, smooth, 3-9cm x 1-3cm

Bark: Reddish-brown, flaky

Flowers: Pale to bright yellow, 5-7cm diameter, having an obnoxious odour; borne singly

Flowering Period: October to February

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from cuttings of firm young growth
Needs a protected position and abundant water, but it is adaptable to a wide range of soil types
